Senior Climate Scientist
XDI (part of The Climate Risk Group) is seeking a Senior Climate Scientist. As a Senior Climate Scientist, you will ensure our climate risk models, methodologies, and metrics are robust and meet the overall objectives of our Product Roadmap and our clients’ needs. You will focus on utilising mathematical and computational techniques to estimate climate-related risks and financial models to quantify building and productivity losses from climate change. You will be accountable for the end-to-end development, maintenance and documentation of our hazard models. You will own models’ methodologies and archetypes, managing prioritisation of new hazards and hazard improvement, ensuring our data and models are kept up-to-date and fit-for-purpose.
